Meet Ana – Founder of Wonder Tree
Hello, I’m Ana Peros, a passionate early childhood teacher, artist, and mother of three. My journey with children began long before I opened Wonder Tree — as both an educator and a parent, I’ve always been fascinated by the way children think, question, and create. Their curiosity reminds me daily that learning isn’t about giving answers — it’s about nurturing wonder. After years of working in early childhood education — from large childcare centres to creative art programs — I realised that what children need most is time, trust, and space to be themselves. I wanted to create a place that feels like home, where every child is seen, heard, and inspired to explore their world in their own way. My background in visual arts and early education shaped the foundation for Wonder Tree. Painting and creative expression are not just hobbies for me — they are my way of connecting with the world. Through colour, texture, and play, I see how children reveal their ideas, emotions, and sense of self. I believe that learning happens everywhere — in the garden, through caring for animals, mixing paint, or sharing stories under a shady tree. Every day at Wonder Tree reminds me why I do this work: to see children light up with joy when they discover something new, to help them grow in confidence, and to walk alongside families who value gentle, meaningful education. About Wonder Tree Where Small Voices Grow Big Ideas Wonder Tree was created from a dream — to offer children a nurturing, creative space where art, nature, and relationships guide every experience. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our program celebrates each child as capable, curious, and full of potential. We believe children learn best when surrounded by beauty, warmth, and connection — when they are encouraged to express themselves freely and to find their own voice through play and creativity.
